Coalitions and Directories
Talking Talons coordinates two community coalitions for the Albuquerque and East Mountains areas:
The East Mountain Health and Prevention Coalition (EMHPC) consists of both a youth team and an adult team that work in tandem to improve health outcomes in the East Mountains area. The youth team uses artistic media to deliver drug and alcohol prevention messages to their peers. The adult coalition unites health professionals and other concerned individuals to increase collaboration between services and create a healthy East Mountains community in which everyone can thrive.
The Environmental Educator Coalition is a network of animal, wildlife, and environmental protection and advocacy groups who participate in the annual Talking Talons WILDFEST event.
Talking Talons maintains directories for both coalitions, which contain contact information for coalition members and other related service providers. Please help us keep these directories current by sending any new or updated information to Marita Harrison.
